These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding contract between you ("Customer") and CodeCrypse IT Solutions LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("VeilScan", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your organisation.
VeilScan provides automated external attack surface scanning ("Scanning"), vulnerability analysis, exploit path generation, and PDF reporting for internet-facing infrastructure you specify ("Targets"). The Service is provided via a web dashboard, API, and automated scan pipeline.
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to bind the organisation you represent. You warrant that you own or have written authorisation from the owner of every Target you submit. Scanning infrastructure you do not own or are not authorised to test is a breach of these Terms and may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and equivalent legislation.
You must provide a valid work email address and maintain accurate account information. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@veilscan.net if you suspect unauthorised access. We do not store passwords — authentication uses email-verified sessions.
The Service is offered on three subscription plans: Starter ($49/month), Core ($149/month), and Pro ($299/month). Plan entitlements (domain slots, scan frequency, features) are described at /pricing and may change with 30 days' notice.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are in USD and exclude VAT where applicable. VAT will be added for UK and EU customers at the prevailing rate. Stripe processes all payments; we do not store card details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. On cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. After the period ends, your account is deactivated and scan data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or where a material service failure on our part has occurred. Contact support@veilscan.net to discuss exceptional cases.
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, incorporated here by reference. In summary: scan only what you are authorised to scan, do not abuse scan quotas, do not attempt to interfere with the platform, and do not use findings to harm third parties.
VeilScan retains all rights in the platform, software, and methodology. You retain ownership of your scan data and reports. You grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the Service. We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics to improve the platform.
We treat your scan results as confidential. We will not disclose your findings to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent. You agree to treat any non-public information about the Service as confidential.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. All customer data is stored in AWS eu-west-2 (London) and does not leave the United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeilScan's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profit, or data loss.
Scanning inherently carries risk. We take all reasonable precautions to avoid disruption to your systems, but we cannot guarantee that scans will have zero operational impact. You agree to accept this risk when submitting Targets.
The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the Service will identify every vulnerability in your infrastructure. Security scanning is probabilistic — a clean scan report does not mean your systems are secure.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CodeCrypse IT Solutions LTD and its directors, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your unauthorised use of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will give reasonable notice where possible. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before initiating legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by emailing hello@veilscan.net.
